Sat 25th June 2022 18:17 Europe/London: Our team have been monitoring the situation with backups for the last week and we believe we have managed to resolve the current issue with the server. We will continue to monitor the ability to process our backups going forward. We apologies again for any invoncinence caused.
Sun 19th June 2022 15:05 Europe/London: We have identified what we believe to be part of the issue and completed a purge of cached system files which we believe were causing some of the larger backups to freeze and ultimately fail. We are also now going to stagger the weekly system backups for our legacy VM’s (OpenVZ) and our currently supported servers (KVM) in an effort to help ease the load on our backup infrastructure at any given time. We are currently running manual backups of any VM’s that failed earlier this week to ensure we have a full and up to date backup in place.
We are currently investigating issues with our weekly automated backup service, which has resulted in a number of our automated system backups of client VPSs not running properly. This will not be impacting any live services, support are investigating.
