MastodonApp.UK Website Intermittent Outages on MastodonApp.UK

We are investigating intermittent outages on the MastodonApp.UK Service. We currently believe this is due to issues with our content processing which has been seeing huge spikes in utilization, but support are currently investigating.

  • We believe the restart to content processing has resolved the issue, support will continue to monitor overnight.

  • We have restarted all of our content processing queues as part of our diagnostics. Support continue to monitor and investigate.

    Hub Minecraft Server Hub & Skyblock Outage

    We are working to resolve a major outage on our Hub & Skyblock Game-modes. We have identified the root cause and support are working to resolve the issue.

    London Region Debian 10 Installs Unavailable in London Region

    We have identified an issue with the Debian 10 install in our London Region which is preventing clients from being able to access their VPS's when trying to install with Debian 10, support are investigating the root cause of this problem.

    Network Bungee Network Bungee Outage

    Support are investigating reports of a major outage on our network bungee. Updates to follow.

  • Monitoring confirms full service is restored and stable.

  • We've applied patches to the host as part of a reboot of the VM and have re-started the Bungee software. Service appears to be operational and we're monitoring the situation.

  • We believe the root cause of the issue is down to the Bungee Server running out of memory, it's our current thought that there is a memory leak in the version of Bungee we're running. An upgrade is due for the bungee server which we hope to resolve the issue, in the mean time we've initiated a reboot of the bungee service which should restore service.
