The performance issues appear to have stabilised and everything is running as expected now.

We have restarted our content processing servers which we believe had crashed in such a way that significant strain was being put on our database server causing wider impact to our database hosts. We are seeing some performance issues across both MastodonAppUK and Universeodon however are expecting this to clear up in 5-10 mins and will continue to monitor the situation.

We're investigating issues on MastodonAppUK, it currently appears to be database related but the root cause and resolution are unknown at this time.
